What are Melanin and Melasma?
Melasma
- 'Melasma' usually refers to an irregular brown pigmentary disease on the faces of young women in their 20 to 30s, which usually worsens with exposure to strong sunlight.
- Causes of worsening melasma: Internal organ-related elements such as female hormones, UV rays, stress, genetic causes, endocrine disease, etc.
Freckles
- Freckles are caused by excessive pigmentation from melanin cells in the skin, usually common among teens.
- They can be also hereditary, are common among Caucasians, and tend to worsen with exposure to UV rays.
Causes of Acne
Hormones
Increased estrogen affects melasma and freckle development. For this reason, it is much more common to see melasma in women than in men. Furthermore, the probability of melasma or freckles developing increases when hormone changes occur because of thyroid issues or pregnancy.
Sun Exposure
Excess sun exposure can be a huge trigger factor in melasma and freckle development. Melasma and freckles are more noticeable during summer, but fade somewhat during winter. Ultraviolet rays in the sun stimulate the melanocytes to create more melanin.
Genetics
Melasma and freckles tend to develop due to genetic reasons. It is strongly recommended to limit other trigger factors if there is a strong family history of melasma or freckles.
Skin Inflammation
Skin inflammation, caused by cosmetic procedures such as chemical peels and laser treatments, can cause the development of melasma or freckles for some people.
Treatment Process
Consultation with the dermatologist.
Cleansing of the area.
Application of anesthesia cream.
Melanin laser treatment.
Cool down after treatment.
Final touches.
Laser TRM
Using a wavelength of 1927nm, the laser has high moisture absorbency and can react fast to a wider variety of skin tissue, which enables pigmentation, skin tone and skin texture improvements in a shorter period of time.
It also destroys blemish-creating melanocytes and contracts loose collagen fiber to help with pigmentation and skin texture improvement.

Principles of TRM Laser
-
1TRM Laser can be used for various effects according to the depth of the wounds on the skin.
-
2Furthermore, when part of the epidermis is damaged, the wound is treated with new cells developed from the base layer of the epidermis.
Advantages of TRM Laser
It has a fast regeneration and recovery time.
It can make the skin brighter and clearer with the regeneration of new skin tissue.
Various treatments are possible based on the thickness of the skin.
Why TRM Laser is more special than other lasers
-
1It is a premium whitening laser that can improve skin pigmentation in a short period of time.
-
2The length and depth of the wavelength is different from other lasers, so it is effective on different lesions of the epidermis and upper dermis.
-
3Since it is effective on different lesions, it gives an excellent result in improving the overall facial tone.
Laser PICOHI
PicoHi laser selectively deliver thermal energy to desired tissues by irradiating skin cells or tissues, raising the tissue temperature.
The generated thermal energy leads to tissue incision, destruction, and removal.

Process of Genesis
-
1Thousands of micro-pulses of light are delivered to the dermis.
-
2These micro-pulses heat up the dermis, inducing blood vessels to shrink, and breaking down scar tissues and melanin.
