Different characteristics of the Male and Female nose
Male
Thick skin which sits differently after surgery
Generally, men’s skin is thicker than women’s, with excess tissues and fat. Depending on the skin thickness, the skin sits differently on the nose. It alters the overall shape, so a different process of reshaping should be applied.
More prominent with a higher bridge and wider mid-nose width
Men’s facial bones are more structured. The nose is also more prominent and all features are more distinct than women’s.
Female
More defined and delicate
A female nose has thinner and softer skin. Additionally, the structure and the size of the cartilage and nasal bone are petite, so the female nose is more defined and delicate.

1. A straight profile from the eyebrow bone to the tip of the nose
The tip of the nose may be less rotated, with the angle between the upper lip and the nose falling at 90-95 degrees. In comparison, women prefer a more petite nose with a more upwardly rotated tip.
2. A naturally connected radix from the eyebrow bone
The main feature of the male nose is a distinct and higher bridge than the female nose. While the female nose is gently connected from the eyebrows to the bridge, the male nose may have a stronger contour.
3. Voluminous tip
If the tip of the nose has less volume, the nose appears feminine and unbalanced on the male face. The tip may not be too thick, but it should have enough volume, giving him/her a masculine look.
4. The appropriate nasolabial angle between 90-95 degrees
The nasolabial angle alters the character of the face. The most appropriate angle of the male nose is about 90-95 degrees, while for a female nose it is about 95-105 degrees.
