Forehead Contouring Surgery

Surgery approaches
1. Fat graft:
Fat graft (fat transfer) is appropriate when the forehead is less or locally sunken. Fat is harvested from the thighs or the abdomen.
The harvested fat is purified and the pure fat is injected into the desired areas.
As the surgery is performed with autogenous tissue and fat is injected with a needle, forehead contouring surgery with a fat graft is considerably safer, with the least complications and scarring.
2. Forehead implant:
A forehead implant is recommended when the forehead is significantly sunken and patients prefer a permanent and dramatic change.
One to two weeks prior to the surgery, a cast of the forehead is taken and the customized implant is prepared in advance.

A 3-4cm incision is made above the hair on the scalp.
